Supporting sponsors included Coca Cola, FCBarcelona, Square, FedEX, and Hewlett Packard. It was live streamed as the largest charity event syndication in history


  •       The Global Citizen festival has been run each year since 2012 with Global Citizens taking more than 11 million actions in the fight against extreme poverty globally – actions directly resulting in $30 billion in commitments from world leaders that are set to affect the lives of 1 billion people around the world


Highlights include Global Poverty Project’s Global Citizen Festival in NYC’s Central Park 2012 and 2013 where 60,000 joined musicians, leading NGO partners, dignitaries and philanthropists towards ending extreme poverty with $1.3bn new funding commitments announced. (
